Section 01What we want to hear about
- Corrections. A specific claim on a specific page that is wrong. These are answered first and the page is amended rather than removed.
- Protocols that did not work as written. Particularly if a step was ambiguous or a branch was missing. A protocol that does not tell you what to do when something deviates is incomplete.
- Gaps. A situation the library does not cover. Several protocols here exist because someone asked for them.
- Assessment criteria you disagree with. The criteria are published so they can be argued with. Tell us which one and why.
- Sources we should be using. Institution level, UK where possible.
Section 02What we will not respond to
Guest post offers, sponsored content proposals, paid placement enquiries, link exchange requests, product samples and press releases. None of those have a route into this publication and messages about them are not answered. Samples sent to us are not reviewed, because we do not review individual products at all.
Section 03We cannot give you individual advice
We are a publication, not a clinical service. We cannot look at a photograph and tell you what a rash is, whether a mole needs checking, or which prescription you should ask for. Those questions need someone who can examine you, and in the UK that starts at a pharmacy or a GP surgery.
If you are trying to work out which route to take, the prescription routes page sets out what each one can do and what to bring.
